Here is how to get your free

1.) First go here AlonWeb and get a register to get your username and password . Always use your secondary email ID to register !

For Windows Users- using Alonweb OpenVPN bundle (recommended)

First you need to download OpenVPN client installer by clicking here. It is malware and spyware-free open-source software. When the download is finished, you should run the installer with Administrator privileges.

Click the “Next” button in the appeared window.

Carefully read the license agreement. It does not restrict both private and commercial usage. Choose, whether you accept it or not.

Choose the installation directory. Usually the default one will do. Click “Next”.

Select the components you wish to install. If unsure, just click “Next”.

Wait while the installation is in progress. Then click “Next”.

When the installation is done, click “Finish”.

Using the Alonweb VPN service is very simple:

Right-click the OpenVPN client icon in your system tray and select “Connect”.

When asked, enter your Alonweb login and password.

You will be prompted when the connection is established. Usually it takes less then five seconds to connect, however this value depends on your Internet connection speed and reliability.

When the icon turns green, you may safely bypass your firewalls and restrictions.

Linux

You can download Alonweb certificate and config file for your OpenVPN here. If you’re not experienced enough, please read below.

You need to install OpenVPN package for your Linux distribution. Open your Linux console and gain root privileges by executing the “su” command. You need to run “sudo su” if you’re using Ubuntu.

Tell your package manager to install OpenVPN for you. On Debian or Ubuntu run the following command:
apt-get install openvpn

The package manager differs on rpm-based distributions (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS, etc.), so if you’re running them execute the following:
yum install openvpn

Also you need to download and install Alonweb configuration file and security certificate, by doing this:
wget http://static.alonweb.com/downloads/alonweb.tar.gz
tar -C /etc -xvzf alonweb.tar.gz

That’s it! Start your OpenVPN by running
/etc/init.d/openvpn start
…enter your username and password, and you’re online!

Hope this helps for those who want privacy on the web!

This is best for checking emails , sending mass emails . etc…
